The Institute seeks to provide a platform for indigenous communities to promote and showcase their professions and trades, as well as display the cultural and natural beauty of their land.

By design, the success of the Institute will depend on the active participation of researchers, heritage experts and community members wishing to advance the objectives of the Institute. They will be the engines driving and pushing the boundaries of knowledge and skill to ensure that the Institute fulfils its mission and achieves its strategic objectives.
On payment of Membership and Annual Subscription fees, each researcher and/or heritage experts will be given the privilege to raise research funds and other resources in the name of the Institute through its registration and branding. Thus, it is envisaged that through the support of the Institute, researchers, heritage experts and community members, at large, will contribute immensely to the development of the country.
